Raku Workshop
Join us in learning the ancient firing technique of Raku, a captivating process that has been cherished for centuries. Students will be taught how to glaze and fire their own pieces in this exciting workshop.

Cost: $125/person for non-members, $95/person for members
Location: Near 7th & Cherry (address given via email after purchase)
Time: Roughly 10am-5pm, but you can leave as soon as your pots are all fired.
Pre-requisites: None, potters with basic knowledge are welcome. Must bring your own bisque fired pots.
Info: Students will bring bisqued pots to the workshop and have access to a variety of glazes/applications (i.e. naked raku, horse hair). With our guidance, students will glaze, load, fire, and unload pieces into containers filled with combustibles.
More Details: Each student is allotted roughly a 13” round by 7” tall space to fill with pots. Lunch and drinks will be provided. This is in a backyard and we will be in the sun for most of the day, so please dress appropriately.
