Open Sessions are designed to offer people and inexpensive chance to get dirty and try their hand (literally) at using pottery wheel. Sessions are two hours long and include basic instruction on how to use a pottery wheel. There are only 8 spaces available per sessions so sign up today! These sessions are meant to be instructional only and anyone desiring to keep finished work will need to pay an additional fee for materials and firing.

Monthly Workshop

4 Weeks; February 2 – February 28
$125 for 4 classes

This series introduces the art of throwing on the potter’s wheel. In Weeks 1 & 2 students learn to create various vessel shapes including bowls, mugs and vases. In week 3 we examine altering, trimming and decorating techniques to enhance their pieces. Week 4 introduces glazing and students complete the series with finished masterpieces.

Group A: Saturdays 3:00-5:00pm
Group B: Thursdays 5:30-7:30pm
